Terms of Service
Last updated: May 5, 2026. These terms explain how you may use Authentic Tarot and what to expect from the service.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, starting a reading, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Authentic Tarot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Authentic Tarot is operated as a reflective tarot journaling and reading experience. These terms apply to the website, account area, readings, journal features, subscriptions, and related services.
2. Reflective and entertainment use
Tarot readings, daily cards, prompts, spreads, and journal guidance are provided for reflection, personal insight, creativity, and entertainment.
Authentic Tarot does not provide medical, legal, financial, mental health, crisis, pregnancy, death, investment, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, and wellbeing.
If you need professional support, contact a qualified professional or emergency service in your area.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that occurs through your account.
You must provide accurate account information and must not impersonate another person, attempt to access another account, or interfere with the service.
We may suspend or restrict accounts that appear to be abusive, fraudulent, unlawful, unsafe, or in breach of these terms.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. We do not store full card details on Authentic Tarot servers.
Subscription prices, plan features, renewal periods, and limits are shown on the pricing and billing pages. Your subscription continues until cancelled through the Stripe customer portal or another supported cancellation process.
If you cancel a subscription, paid access may continue until the end of the current billing period unless Stripe or the plan terms say otherwise.
Refunds are considered case by case unless required by law. To ask about a billing issue, contact support@authenticself.energy with the email address on your account and relevant payment details, excluding card numbers.
5. User content
You may create readings, questions, notes, journal entries, favourites, and other content in the service. You keep ownership of your own content.
You grant Authentic Tarot permission to store, process, display, and use your content as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, enforce safety rules, and operate the product.
Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, invasive of another person's privacy, or that you do not have the right to use.
6. Privacy choices
Readings, questions, journal entries, and favourites are private to your account unless a future sharing feature is explicitly enabled and you choose to use it.
If sharing is added later, you will be responsible for deciding what to share. Do not share private questions, sensitive personal information, or another person's information unless you have permission.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Authentic Tarot available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, pause, or be removed as the product evolves.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authentic Tarot is provided as is and as available. We are not liable for decisions you make based on readings, journaling prompts, or other reflective content.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Contact
For account, billing, privacy, or terms questions, contact support@authenticself.energy.
